Quilling dies and paper

Post by leanne80 on 2012-05-25, 05:43

Hi peoples! Was wanting to know if I can get quilling dies like the ones here: http://www.quilledcreations.com/eshop/quillingdies.asp in Australia, as I don't realy want to get them from over seas if I don't have to.

I have found these ones at Lincraft: http://www.sullivans.net/search.asp?srchpro=quilling+die but they dont have the rose ones.

Also any ideas as to where I could get sheets of paper sutiable for quilling for the dies? eg: plain colour on both sides, right gsm and maybe in a mulit colour pack?

Hi leanne, a long time ago our Admin: Karon made for us a template for roses which I have hosted for you .You can print it out to any size you want, also instead of using normal scissors you could use those scissors that give shapes zig zag as sample.Do you not have a craft store for your paper?,about the dies go into internet maybe you could fine a shop near you. But do not forget to mention the maker name of your machine you use. I hope this has helped you a little have a great day

Leanne,

The Craft and Quilt Fair is on at Darling Harbour (Wed 13th to Sunday 17th June). I will be attending and will keep an eye out for these dies. I have a Xryon cutter and it looks like I could use them with it.

Check out OfficeWorks for paper. They sell A4 80gsm packs (25 sheets) of paper and also mixed colour packs. Hope this helps
