What is your favorite tool?

Post by admin on 2010-03-04, 13:08

Okay here it is everyone, the question of the day...what is your favorite tool? The secret to all our success....our best friend and aid in all our quilling projects, what is it for you? Well we all know that Jo's is her fringer, what about you Bronwyn?
I have 3 items that I heavily rely on. 1 is my large cork workboard where I assemble all my creations but no, that's not it, my other fine tip glue bottle that keeps my glue addiction in check by dispensing smaller amounts than I'd like to use but in the right doses but again that is not it. Mine is my fine tip slotted tool, my friend and companion. If I go looking for it and it is not there I get quite distressed. I have a needle tool but I tend to use it for cleaning out glue tips rather than quilling and rarely use it. I think I would just about die if I lost it
Anyone else? Now if you will excuse me, I am off to spend some quality time with her lol!

I would have to say slotted tool, and tooth pick to apply the glue, it works really good.

I know it sounds weird...but I love my glue bottle! It's so easy to squeeze and I don't have to wait forever for it to dribble down to the spout before I have to try and squeeze the last drop out. It doesn't get plugged up like the fine tipped glue bottle I have.

Sometimes I like my needle tool with the slit after I use my slotted tool to make a smaller hole. How do you maneuver stickers with your needle tool? Sounds interesting, I must try as I find those border stickers really hard to pick up with my fingers

I'm nearly 2 years late Wink But I think my favourite tool at the moment is my fine tip glue bottle. I was making such a mess before, using the wooden stick that my kit came with.

Plus it's 'lid' is a pin which I just discovered I can quill with too Very Happy

My favourite tools are my slotted tool, needle for picking up the clue, curling coach, mini mould, cork working board, and a tooth pick which I use to make the centre hole round and neat, when doing tight curls. I also took a Champagne cork and put three different sizes pins with a round tops for raise the tight curls the same as the mini mould does, last but least glue without that we would not get very far.
bounce line good quilling everyone, and have a great day
