Quilling guilds around the world

I have included some information and links to the quilling guilds around the world these groups have members around the world from beginners to advanced and hold annual shows and support for quillers

Dutch quilling Guild

The Dutch Quilling Guild is a national association was founded in January 1989.
Two times per year somewhere in the country an activity day is organized. The Guilds magazine “Verdraaid” appears four times a year.
The contribution for the membership of the quilling association amounts to Euro 25,00 per year including Euro 2,00 registration fee (one time only).
The association year runs of 1 July up to and including 30 June of the next year.

North American Quilling Guild

The NAQG was officially formed in 2000, They are not affiliated with The Quilling Guild in the UK, but are an independent and separate entity. Both guilds are dedicated to promoting and preserving this unique and beautiful art form.
Membership is open to quillers of all levels and quilling enthusiasts worldwide.
Members of the North American Quilling Guild receive:
· Membership Packet
· 4 Quill America Newsletters mailed out Quarterly
· Access to the Members' Only area of the website
· Access to quillers all over the world, through the member only "NAQGmembers" online chat and message board.
Membership dues cover a one year period and are:
· $25.00 for United States members
· $30.00 for Canada and Mexico
· $35.00 for all others
· Membership dues are paid annually in U.S. Dollars.

The English quilling guild

The Guild, formed in 1983 The Guild holds an annual display of work in the UK and organises an International Festival of Quilling every five years.
Representatives also arrange meetings and workshops throughout the year. Membership of the Quilling Guild enitles you to receive three copies a year of 'Quillers Today', full colour magazine Each year, the Quilling Guild holds an Annual Display of Quilling Work, to which all members and the General Public are welcome. At the same time there's the Guild's annual AGM.

Japan Quilling Guild
Apparently formed in 2006. This website's default language is Japanese; the choice for an English version is only available for homepage. (The website is currently unavailable.) I am not able to confirm if this guild is still in existence and therefore have just included this but will update once I find out if they are still operating

Yes, google is my best friend these days lol!
Most of these groups hold annual (or similar) competitions. Apparently if you join the English guild you can work toward accreditation. I will see what else I can find out. It would be nice to see some of our members enter some of these as I think there is a high quality of work and doing these can enhance and education you to your quilling with an unbiased point of view. Take it to the next level so to speak
