stitch, quill and lace

Post by miriam on 2010-07-03, 13:27

Here is a male card i 've just finished for a neighbour's son. I 've stitched corners, and quilled flowers around the photo of her son and also used a lace template in an acward position to give it a different look hope you like it. And also finished a handbag card where i punched 3 roses and on the animal print where there is black i have used a sort of suede paper. To use the suede paper i had to trace the black print one by one and cut it on the suede paper it was a task but the end result result lovely and the recipient liked it. Hope you like it too.

Hi Miriam
Love the roses, you have done a wonderful job at making them look really natural
There is a template link here
template link
that you can click that has a handbag template but it also has loads more different types of boxes. They are free to use and may give you some ideas if you like making things like that. I enjoyed making the purse on this template too.
Have fun

Nice work! Great quilled roses-I have tried twice before to make them, but they never look right! I have looked at tutorials and stuff, I just can't make them Rolling Eyes. But, I can do just about everything else!
