Post by kaoru on 2010-07-05, 05:47

Hello everyone,
I'm from Japan and I have to say sorry,,,because of my poor English.?!
I might be beginning to irritate you. Gommen na sai.

15 years ago,when I lived in Illinois,U.S.A, I first knew paper quilling.
I have been quilling for about 10 years.( I think more.)
and still learning new things all of the time.
I especially like to make 3D quilling.

I Hope to have a look members wonderfull quilling work here.

Regards,
Kaoru

Hi!

Yay, you are a 3D quiller! So am I. Really, my 3D quilling is my only "worthy" thing that I consider to be good enough for the gallery (because that is mostly the only kind of quilling I do, though I can quill normally too, obviously...)

Welcome Colleen and Kaoru
Colleen is my sisters name too and I don't hear it that often. Kaoru, many people get the pronunciation of my name mixed up too so I am very glad you told us how to say it properly.
It is wonderful to see you both here and I hope you get lots out of this wonderful forum. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful so if you have any ideas or questions, don't hesitate to fire them our way. We are always up for a good discussion

My name is ALWAYS pronounced wrong too, well 80% of the time to people that don't know me. I consider it a miracle when someone pronounces it right right away. I deem it as a miracle Rolling Eyes. As a reminder, it's Ra-shell. Not Ray-chel, as I am still unfortuanatly called. I am not looking forward to my first day of school in two months Rolling Eyes.
