Hint for scrapbookers

Post by Heather on 2010-07-31, 19:01

I did a lot of quilling that was put in a scrapbook. This book was on display at a couple of scrapbooking stores for about 6 years and took lots of abuse. The quilling stood up really well but the pages themselves warped a bit being in the 12x12 plastic page protectors. I didn't cut the cardstock down to accomodate the dimension of the quilling and eventually the cardstock showed wear and tear. My lesson learned is to cut a bit off the sides of the cardstock so that the cardstock fits loosely in the page protector once the quilling is added. One of these days, I will get my camera out and show you the pages that I did. I'm not an expert quiller by any means and am in awe of the other's work here. My quilling could be described as very basic in comparison.
