This certainly is quite a challenge but the result is absolutely fantastic. I am going to give this a try once I dig out my ornaments. I'm pretty sure I have a clear glass ball in my collection.

Love the addition of the snow inside too. Simply spectacular!

looks like it would be hard to put together inside of it, wonder if theres a step by step pattern on how to put it together?

I like the clear acrylic ornaments that you can pull apart in 2 halves - they are much easier to decorate. They are usually around from now on leading up to Christmas in craft stores.
Also just decorating a coloured ball ornament is alot easier.

Yes, the acrylic ones look far easier but the intrigue for me is that it is put through the top.

On closer examination, I think I have figured it out but I would need a pair of calipers to be sure. My guess is that the inside star piece was done on the outside and then slipped through the center. Because there is a V shape to each of the star parts it would be easier to glue the spokes in place than it would be if you were gluing a section onto a circle. My guess is that each of the spokes were completed on the outside and then glued in place making it only six times you have to glue from the inside. I may be wrong here but that is my guess is that all of the spokes will fit in the top. I'm just crazy enough to give this a try. santa

If I don't succeed, then I will do the acrylic balls.
