Happy Quilling in 2011
Just thinking about this year and how many special events in the family to quill for. I have a couple of Big O birthdays and some 40th wedding anniversaries to consider. Must check out my birthday book for any I have forgotten about.
Re: Happy Quilling in 2011
Happy 2011 everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much. Was so busy getting ready for that Xmas show, then the holidays themselves. Honestly, so glad to be getting back to "normal." I have so many great projects planned for 2011, I think I may need a couple of extra months tacked onto this year.
How is everyone? New projects? I'm going to do some more cards and such to get my quilling fingers back, then I'm planning a guitar piece with a Jimi Hendrix theme. Glad to be getting back to such things.

That's good thinking, Bronwyn. I must check my birthday file to check which events may need some extra "quilling" attention.

Ack.. the weather was bad so there wasn't exactly a big crowd. Still, my quilling art jewellery was a hit.
And the shop where I have some quilling for sale sold my two dragons, so I left them with my butterflies to sell. Have to make more dragons now.
How did yours go?

Mine was not very good.
However I could be teaching people quilling this year at a shop.

I know, eh? You put in all that time getting ready, then :p. Oh well, we move on. My mom gave workshops occasionally, and they were fun. That's where I learned.
Once we teamed up: she taught quilling and I demonstrated how to make paper. Something else I must get to before gardening season starts.
