Happy New Year

Post by Rosie on 2011-01-02, 02:01

To all my quilling friends here, i hope you have a great 2011 with lots of fabulous quilling to keep you happy and entertained.

Got myself going with a St Valentine's heart nearly finished, just got to keep the momentum going now.

Thank you Rosie! I hope you have a FANTASTIC New Year!

I've been trying to recoup some energy, at least enough to do some quilling.

Can't wait to see your heart Rosie and Sheree that latest avatar of your place all covered in snow, my goodness, there is even more there now. You wouldn't have needed to do snowflakes as you have your own!! lol
We are fine here in Brisbane from the floods you may have seen, just very wet and muddy though!
I have made some beads and jewellery so I will get some pics done over the next few days
Happy quilling all
Karon

Hi Karon!! I'm really glad to hear that you & yours are safe from those floods...I was a bit worried since you haven't posted lately!!! Whew... Wink

Well the first round of snow was melted away...then we got blasted again, this avatar is from the second go round! I've been busy with keeping the snow shoveled off the walkway...and keeping the fire going in the wood stove...haha at least I don't have to fetch water!! It was 13f below zero day before yesterday...it was COLD!

I'm sorry this is getting to be a long note Smile

Wow! That snow looks amazing. I'm not so keen on the cold though.

Happy New Year to you to Rosie. Looking forward to seeing the heart.

Happy New Year!

Is it 2011 or 2,011?

I always wonder-when will we say 2011 ALWAYS-like in the early 20th century. Did they say 1,909?! Nope, 19...09.

Sorry, that was sorta random Laughing.

20...11 for me. ;o) I think it's marginally shorter, isn't it? I know, people, what a species. Hehehe
