Wow! Well done on the poems. It is all way too creative for my baby brain right now. Very inspirational.

Thoughts of a late night quiller.

Is it Worth the Pain?

I twist, I turn and fold it,
I do not think this is right.
I curse, I yell and throw it,
Did they say to roll it tight?

I crease, I roll and bend it
And now I'm feeling queazy.
Again curse, yell and throw it
They said it would be easy.

Fifty tried and thrown away
But think I'm getting nearer.
This is good, what do you say?
(Instructions could be clearer).

To continue is it wise?
Tell me is it worth the pain?
Yes it is, surprise, surprise,
I have made a rose again!

Thanks Karon and Paula. I love poetry and used to write a lot of verse so to get back to it feels good. My favourite poets are "Banjo" Patterson, Pam Ayres and Raymond J Bartholomeuz (aka Brian Nankervis). Pam Ayres wrote a poem titled Thoughts of a Late Night Knitter hence, my tag, "Thoughts of a late night quiller". Love the comedy in their poems.

Paper Cuts...

Gotta love those papers,
The ones so long and thin,
All types & pretty colors,
You know the ones,
You play with them,
You twirl them,
You curl them,
You quill them,
You love them ALL...

And what do you get...
In return?
PAPER CUTS!
That's what!

If you are not ~ME~ (as in Krazeeldy or Sheree O)..Please, do not use my poems nor my words on your blog without my permission!
Thank you!

That's really cool Sheree, and though I have got my paper cuts under control (only ever got 1 or 2) they are their fresh in my mind as they are so annoying until they heal! Keep em going! great poems

I'm impressed by all the poets here on this forum. I bow to you all.

I know I couldn't do, so why bother.

I'm a fan of Maxine as well, and had no idea that a man had created her. I want to be Maxine.
