Sunday tip wooden templates

Post by toye on 2011-08-21, 12:06

In my odds ends box I just could not find the right size circle or block, racking my head where? Then it came to me in my craft store there could be something. This is what I came up with; also they had different sizes in blocks, they all made out of wood. Woooow it works really well, one must just be careful not getting the glue on the wood. Therefore, if there is anyone having the same problem this might just be helpful. As you see I have made a very simple ring using paper hardener and then lack, and it is still in one piece after testing wooow.

This is a great idea for an open coil Toye.

I know of a quiller who winds the strips round her finger but some other items you may have round the house that might be useful:

Coins

Washers

Knitting needles or crochet hooks

and for a square shape I use Leggo. Start with the small square and you can add pieces to it to make larger squares.

Has anyone any other ideas?

Hey Toye, I tried to google the strengthener, only found one place that sells it. I have an email into them to see if they ship to the US... Smile If they don't I may ask you to send me some...after, of course, you tell me how much it is & how much it will cost to ship! Very Happy And...how to get some $$ to you! Smile

(I know that answer wasn't for me...)!!

You are the best! Smile

Sorry every one that was my mistake I should have include every one about the paper strengthener Cry , in which was intended. Here in Basel it is cost 10.00 Sfr. and I get 10% discount. let us not worry about the sending cost postage is not so expencive like U.S.

Toye thanks for the idea and Jocelyneliza.
I never thought of Lego.
I though of pill bottles or film canisters, though no one has those these days with digital cameras.
