making a center flower a little different

Post by toye on 2011-09-19, 07:24

This might not be anything new to most of you, but I thought it might be for the newbee’s some tips of making a different center flower. I made an 8-petal flower using a small puncher flower form. I placed that in the middle and 2 to 3 times with paper, strengthener, pushing each petal to the middle while still wet, and let it dry each time. Putting a dab of glue in the center and using a 2mm wide strip cutting it 2cm and making tight curls, then placing it in the center. I hope this has help with some new ideas

Oh I love that Toye! It makes the flower look like some kind of Australian wildflower. Oh, I wish I had more time to try out these new ideas.
