Christmas Quilling

Post by Lauren (Administrator) on 2011-11-01, 11:39

Hi All,

Hope everyone is well and enjoying their week.

I thought I would share a few Christmas Quilling websites I have come across (please ensure that you respect any copyright and acknowledge anyone where necessary and appropriate).

Have a look at these...

Whimsiquills

All Things Paper

Quilling, Art and Expression I love the simplicity of this Christmas Tree

Do you have any other patterns that you would like to share?

Do you make quilled Christmas cards? I would love to say that I do but sadly I do not have the time for this. I admire anyone who does give it a go. Sadly, sending Christmas cards is becoming a thing of the past but I have made an effort in the last couple of years to send cards as I know how much I enjoy receiving them and using them to decorate my house at Christmas time.

These are NOT patterns but the items are for purchase on etsy. I just had to share because they are so cute:

Christmas Elf

Christmas Lights

Christmas Angels

Christmas Reindeer

Wooow Thank you Lauren, these are good little tips, to send cards through the post I have made some special envelops that have 5mm height I have this (ULTIMATE Crafter’s Companion), they also have a single board for flat envelops. Martha Stewart also has a board for making envelops with dimensional, this one comes only in inches, but does the job either flat or Dimensional envelops. Since I have had these boards I have never bought any more envelopes great thing to have.

I am working on something for Christmas which you will see at the blog hop on the 4th Nov USA time - the 5th Nov Aussie time.
I am also making some cards for a street stall to raise money for church. So take a peak at my blog on the weekend. pc smile

Also later in the month I will share my simple Christmas design of the 3 Wise Men, which I did many years ago for a card. I think it could do with revamp so I need to work on some ideas I have.
My great auntie used to keep the design on her mantelpiece all year round until she passed away.
