Kinder Eggs

Post by Kat on 2012-03-27, 17:57

I just bought a box of three Kinder eggs, expecting to find plastic egg cases in two halves inside each one, but they don't come like that anymore Sad

They were just chocolate eggs with a little dome shaped yellow plastic thing inside that had a tacky plastic toy in - where am I going to get my plastic egg in two halves to make a casket egg now!

why don't you use simple hen egg? You can draw a line across the egg and make both half's Smile. I make my quilled eggs exactly like that Smile.

Do you really? Do you blow the contents out first? I didn't want to go to all that hassle.

I could use my polystyrene egg and cover it in in food film couldn't I?

How do I make sure the two halves will fit together properly?

Off course I blow the content of egg at first ;p. You can use polystyrene egg also Smile. Just cover it in food foil and it is done Smile.

My blue egg was made on the simple egg (without the content) Smile when You will be making the other half keep first half on the egg and match them (without gluing!!) I made it, so everyone can Smile
