Good morning everyone, I would like to say if anyone is interested I have put my new collection in my web. (day and night) and (Autumn Bliss) and some Pocket watches. I did not wish to take up too much space in the Forum. Sorry to say something went wrong with my Guest book, it seems to have gotten lost.Have a good day everyone

Thank you for your kind words, Sheree all you have to do is to get on the plane and fly to Basel; I would gladly have you as a model and to have you in my humble home. Helen all you need is some forms, I use wooden blocks and roll them round until you get firmness, you can use anything. Then I use a paper hardener and then lack. From there on just use one fantasy. It is so funny how people just love black and white, which is what started me off, for I had an order for 5 black and white pendants.
Hugs to all

Yes I did all the iris folding that you see in my web with my own little dainty handy paddies (hands). I love doing this craft also; for you do not need much material one just collects all the rapping paper when you get presents, or get people to save some rapping paper for you. So I get people to save paper for me ha ha ha.I only get big presant that you cannot rap ha i should be lucky

Hello,

Your boxes are lovely!

Can I ask, do you use a mould for them? I'd like to learn to make boxes too but aren't sure how to get the shape right.

hi Kat I am not sure which boxes you mean, do you mean the round ones. For up till now that is the only ones I have done in Quilling. Yes one does need a mould, you can take anything that you fancy, cover it with cellophane just work around starting with the base upside down then the sides. It will need a little planning on what shapes you want with the Quilling, before you take it off the mould use a paper hardener or a lack so the coils will not loos their shapes let it dry for about ½ hour. Then take it of the mould then the top you will have to make the top a little wider to fit the box. I do not know if this has help you, you could also go into You Tube and write in (Quilling boxes instructions ) this should also help you good luck just go for it
